CIR8869 Infrared thermometer with measurement diameter display. Measures up to 1500 degrees Celsius

The CIR8869 is a modern IR thermometer designed for professional industrial applications where you need to measure high temperatures – up to +1500 °C.

With a very small measuring area (50:1), the CIR8869 measures up to +1500ºC. A unique feature of this instrument is that the diameter of the measuring area is marked with two laser beams, which eliminates the risk of measurement errors.

On an IR thermometer with only a single laser beam as a marker, it is impossible to know exactly where you are measuring. Infrared radiation is, as is well known, invisible to the human eye. The laser beam then serves only as a guide to the center of the surface being measured. It is impossible to know how much lies outside this center point. By using two laser beams to mark the outer diameter of the measurement spot, you eliminate this source of error.

Furthermore, the CIR8869 is equipped with an LED that illuminates the measurement area; useful in dark spaces. External probes, of the thermocouple type, can be connected, which also enables ”conventional” temperature measurement with the same instrument. You can therefore connect air temperature, needle, and surface probes for reading.

A large and clear display shows the temperature and settings made. Adjustable emissivity between 0.10 – 1.00. Alarms for high or low temperature, temperature difference, and average of temperature measurements make this a very useful instrument.
